To Prevent Tarnish:  

Store in a Zip-lock bag or Pacific cloth pouch.

TO CLEAN:

 

Shiny Silver - Use a polishing cloth, any commercial cleaner or toothpaste.

 

Matte Finish silver - 

Tarne-x or another dip-it type silver cleaner. I’ve had good results with Brilliant Silver Cleaner, Black. (Available online)

OR

Make a paste of liquid detergent (dish soap) and baking soda. Scrub vigorously with a tooth brush.  Works best for light tarnish.

 

Gold or copper included in a silver piece may be cleaned by 

the same method used on the silver part. Avoid getting chemical cleaners on stones.
